How are same-day dental crowns made?
Drs. Don Cook and David Bingham start the process by taking digital impressions of your teeth. Those impressions are then transferred to our in-house CAD/CAM software, where it is manipulated and modified on a computer screen. The design is then milled from a single block of ceramic material and contoured as needed to fit your smile perfectly. After the final polish, the restoration is bonded over the natural tooth, and any necessary changes or adjustments can be made during the same visit. Patients leave Northwest Dental Center with their permanent crowns in less than an hour from start to finish!
